NAMCO BANDAI opens Vancouver studio

NAMCO BANDAI Studios Inc. opens its new subsidiary, NAMCO BANDAI Studios Vancouver Inc., at the Centre for Digital Media. The studio will develop mobile and on-line social games in addition to making jobs in British Columbia’s developing technology sector.

The government of British Columbia supplied important assistance to NAMCO BANDAI. The province’s Trade and Investment Office in Tokyo, Investment and Company Attraction Branch in Vancouver and Major Investment Office hosting plan have been instrumental in attracting NAMCO BANDAI to set up operations in B.C.

NAMCO BANDAI Studios Vancouver Inc. will work in close collaboration with neighborhood government and educational institutions to create and secure talent, boost high quality of their game content and energize B.C.’s video game business.
