THE SMELL. Wing Hop, a Chinese gardener whoowns a simall truck farm near Fresno,has announced that he has out-Burbank-ed Luther Burbank and produced anodorless onion. For years Hop, who formerly workedfor Mr. Burbank, has been working onthe production of an onion which wouldhave all the taste and other qualities ofthe normal vegetable, but would be freeof the disagreeable odor which offendsso many persons.
